About the Role

First Advisor Insurance Brokers, an IRDAI-licensed direct insurance broker, is looking for an IT Project Manager. You will plan and deliver IT projects on time, within budget and in line with IRDAI and data-security requirements. Projects include policy administration, CRM, insurer integrations, digital sales platforms and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Delivery

•         Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets

•         Prepare project plans, milestones, resource plans and risk registers

•         Manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, testing, go-live and closure

•         Report progress to senior management through dashboards and regular status reports

Stakeholder and Business Coordination

•         Gather and document requirements (BRD/FRD) from Sales, Operations, Claims, Finance, HR and Compliance

•         Coordinate with insurer partners on API integrations, portals and data exchange

•         Manage communication and expectations across business and technical teams

Technology and Vendor Management

•         Select, onboard and manage software vendors, system integrators and service providers

•         Review SLAs, contracts, change requests and vendor performance

•         Oversee development, UAT, deployment and post-implementation support

Compliance, Risk and Governance

•         Ensure projects comply with IRDAI guidelines, the DPDP Act and company information security policies

•         Coordinate VAPT, audits, disaster recovery and business continuity activities

•         Identify, escalate and mitigate project risks and dependencies

Team Leadership

•         Lead and guide developers, business analysts, QA and support staff

•         Drive Agile/Scrum or Waterfall practices as each project requires

Qualifications

•         B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in IT/Computer Science

•         PMP, PRINCE2, CSM or similar certification (preferred)

•         MBA (preferred)

Skills

•         Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

•         Experience with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence and Azure DevOps

•         Understanding of insurance operations: policy lifecycle, endorsements, renewals, claims, commissions and reconciliation

•         Exposure to CRM, policy administration systems, APIs, cloud platforms and data analytics/BI

•         Budgeting, vendor negotiation and contract management

•         Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
