Job Summary:

Saraf Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations with a strong focus on high volume data entry and accuracy. The role requires handling an average of 50 accounting entries per day across multiple business verticals including catering, EPC, and marine operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Record an average of 50 accounting entries per day including purchases, sales, expenses, and journal vouchers
• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally / Tally ERP
• Enter and verify invoices, bills, and payment vouchers
• Maintain vendor and customer ledgers
• Assist with bank entries and basic bank reconciliations
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Support GST related data entry and documentation (returns handled by senior team)
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely submission of bills and vouchers
• Assist senior accountants during month end closing and audits
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all accounting entries

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Commerce or Accounting
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or data entry roles
• Strong working knowledge of Tally or Tally ERP
• Basic understanding of GST and accounting principles
• Comfortable handling high volume daily accounting entries
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel
