Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the waste-paper baling machine

• Supervise approximately 10–15 factory workers

• Allocate sorting, baling, loading and unloading work

• Ensure correct sorting and separation of different waste-paper grades

• Check bale quality, weight and proper tying

• Monitor daily production and worker productivity

• Coordinate the loading and unloading of material

• Maintain basic records of inward material, bales produced and dispatches

• Monitor the baling machine and report maintenance requirements or breakdowns

• Maintain cleanliness, discipline and safety inside the factory

• Prevent material mixing, wastage and pilferage

• Coordinate with the office regarding production and dispatches

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience in factory, warehouse, scrap, recycling, packaging or material-handling operations

• Experience operating a hydraulic baling machine will be strongly preferred

• Must be capable of supervising and managing 10–15 workers

• Must be physically active and willing to operate the machine personally

• Should be responsible, punctual and capable of independently handling a factory shift

• Candidates residing near Cotton Green or surrounding areas will be preferred
