Mechanical Draftsman

Role Summary:

To make GA Drawings, Manufacturing Drawings, Layouts, Pit Drawings for Puzzle Parking, Stack Parking, Tower Parking, Car Lifts. You will work with Design Engineers and convert concepts into accurate 2D/3D drawings for client approval and factory production.

Make 2D GA Drawings, Layouts, , Section Views in AutoCAD

Make 3D Models and Assembly in SolidWorks / Inventor

Make Manufacturing Drawings with GD&T, tolerances, welding symbols

Make BOM (Bill of Materials) from 3D models2.

Make drawings as per site measurements and sales survey form

Make drawings for client approval, architect approval, RTO / Fire / Municipal approval

Do revisions as per client comments quicklyCoordinate with Sales team for technical feasibility

Maintain Drawing Register, Revision Control, Drawing Numbering System

Ensure drawings are error-free to avoid material wastage in factory

Maintain all drawings in proper folder structure on server

Prepare installation manuals, O&M manuals with drawings

Prepare As-Built drawings after project completion

AutoCAD 2D - Expert Level (Must),SolidWorks

MS Excel for BOM Knowledge of GD&T, Welding Symbols, Tolerance

Knowledge of Mechanical Fabrication - MS Structure, Sheet Metal, Laser Cutting, Bending, Welding

Knowledge of Hydraulics, Motors, Chain, Rope, Pulley, Bearings is plus

Knowledge of Puzzle Parking / Stack Parking / Lifts / Material Handling Equipment is highly preferred

Can read civil drawings and understand building structure

Education: ITI Draftsman / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / BE Mechanical

Experience: 2-8 Years as Mechanical Draftsman / AutoCAD Draftsman / Design Draftsman

Must have worked in: Parking Systems/ Lifts/ Material Handling/ Steel Structure/ Machine Manufacturing/ SPM industry
