THE ROLE

At Bombay Sweet Shop, every mithai is more than a sweet — it's a moment of magic. As a Packaging & Operations Team Member, you're the one who makes sure it arrives perfectly. You'll work on the production floor, operating sealing and filling machinery, packing and labeling products, and helping us hit daily targets without ever cutting corners on quality or safety.

This is a hands-on, physical role where accuracy and consistency matter. You'll work across our Andheri Warehouse and Chembur locations as part of a tight-knit fulfillment team — keeping things moving, keeping standards high, and keeping the workspace clean and compliant.

No formal experience required — a strong work ethic and willingness to follow process will take you far here.

WHO YOU ARE

You're someone who follows instructions carefully and takes pride in doing things right. You're comfortable operating machinery, working with your hands, and staying focused during a full shift. You can read and follow packaging instructions accurately, have basic math skills for weighing and inventory tracking, and are flexible with work hours — including weekends and shifts. You're reliable, physically capable, and understand that quality on the floor starts with you.

YOUR TEAM

You'll be part of the Fulfillment Team, working alongside the Retail Supervisor and fellow team members across Andheri It's an on-ground, collaborative team — everyone pulls together to meet daily targets.

WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO

You will report directly to the Fulfillment Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

Machine Operation: Operate sealing machinery and weight filling machines safely and efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

Sorting & Packing: Sort, weigh, and pack food items into pouches accurately, following product and order specifications.

Quality Inspection: Inspect products on the line for quality and safety — identify and remove any defective or damaged items before they move forward.

Labeling & Accuracy: Label all packaged products correctly, ensuring every item leaving your station meets brand and compliance standards.

Sanitization & Maintenance: Follow strict sanitization procedures, clean machinery after use, and maintain a tidy workstation in line with food safety and health regulations.

Inventory & Production Tracking: Use basic math and simple tracking tools to log weights, quantities, and stock levels — flagging any shortfalls to your supervisor.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience – Freshers welcome. Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environment is preferred but not required.

Industries – Food production, FMCG, warehouse, or retail packaging environments. Any hands-on production or factory floor exposure is a plus.

Tools – Sealing machines, weight filling machines, label printers, and basic computer tools including MS Office. Training will be provided.
