JOB DESCRIPTION
*Position: Warehouse Manager & Incharge* – Supply Chain & Logistics
Department: Operations / Supply Chain
Experience: 3–8 Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations / Engineering or related field
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse, inventory, logistics, reverse logistics, and fleet operations, ensuring safe material handling, inventory accuracy, timely dispatches, operational efficiency, and compliance with company SOPs, EHS guidelines, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
Manage end-to-end inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing, loading and outbound dispatch operations.
Manage inbound activities including unloading, weighing, segregation, QC, GRN, barcoding and put-away.
Manage outbound activities including picking, weighing, loading and dispatch.
Verify quality and quantity of received materials and raise discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, storage, product safety and material traceability.
2. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS/ERP.
Conduct cycle counts, physical stock verification and periodic stock audits.
Investigate inventory discrepancies, damages, shortages and excess inventory.
Ensure optimum warehouse space utilization and proper material location management.
3. E-Waste & Safety
Ensure safe handling, segregation and storage of e-waste, lithium-ion batteries, electrical/electronic equipment and recyclable materials.
Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, statutory regulations and company SOPs.
Drive 5S, housekeeping, safe material handling and continuous improvement.
4. Fleet & Logistics Management
Manage day-to-day fleet and transportation operations.
Plan and optimize vehicle routes based on volume, capacity, delivery locations and TAT.
Coordinate with transporters/vendors for timely vehicle placement and dispatch.
Monitor vehicle utilization, turnaround time, route adherence and transportation cost.
Manage vehicle loading/unloading and ensure compliance with vehicle documentation and safety requirements.
5. Reverse Logistics & E-Commerce
Manage reverse logistics including collection, transportation, receiving, segregation and disposition of returned/rejected/recyclable materials.
Optimize route planning and logistics TAT.
6. Team & Vendor Management
Plan manpower deployment and monitor productivity.
Train, guide and evaluate warehouse teams.
Coordinate with cross functional team.
Manage warehouse vendors, manpower agencies and transporters.
7. Equipment & Infrastructure
Ensure availability and maintenance of MHE, weighing machines, scanners, printers, racks, docks and other warehouse equipment.
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
Required Experience
• 5–8 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics or Supply Chain operations.
• Minimum 2 years as Warehouse In-charge / Warehouse Manager.
• Proven experience in fleet management and transportation operations.
• Prior experience in route planning, e-commerce and reverse logistics.
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, e-commerce, retail or large-scale warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience handling electronic products, electrical equipment, e-waste, lithium-ion batteries or bulky materials will be an advantage.
