Job Description
- Job ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense and payment records.
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, debit/credit notes and other accounting documents.
- Handle Tally Prime entries and maintain proper ledgers.
- Assist with GST returns, reconciliation and related documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain bank records.
- Track customer outstanding payments and coordinate for payment follow-ups.
- Verify supplier bills, purchase invoices and supporting documents.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
- Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports and management statements.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, bills and financial records.
- Coordinate with sales, purchase and management teams regarding accounts-related matters.
- Support the senior accountant/management in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate and updated on a regular basis.
