Electrical Maitenance Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Installation & Setup

• Install electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, and equipment as per drawings and specifications
• Execute electrical work for projects such as exhibitions, maintenance sites, or client locations
• Ensure proper earthing, cable routing, and load distribution

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems
• Identify faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot issues in power supply, panels, DBs, and equipment

3. Testing & Quality Checks

• Conduct testing of electrical installations before commissioning
• Ensure proper functioning of lighting, power points, and equipment
• Maintain quality standards as per company and client requirements

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily work reports and job completion updates
• Report material usage, faults, and site issues to supervisor
• Assist in preparing basic electrical reports if required

5. Material Handling

• Properly handle and store electrical materials and tools
• Ensure minimum wastage and proper utilization of resources
• Inform supervisor about material shortages in advance

6. Breakdown Support

• Attend emergency breakdown calls and resolve issues promptly
• Be available for overtime or urgent work when required

7. Discipline & Conduct

• Follow company rules, attendance policy, and reporting structure
• Maintain professional behavior at client sites and exhibitions
