Salary: ₹18,000–₹22,000/month, depending on experience and skills

About the Role Vicky’s Kitchen is looking for an experienced and reliable Indian Home-Style Cook to join our growing tiffin kitchen.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable preparing consistent, hygienic and tasty food in bulk and should have experience with Indian/Maharashtrian/North Indian home-style cooking.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare daily breakfast/lunch/dinner items as per the planned menu.
• Cook approximately 30–50 tiffin portions/day with consistent taste and quality.
• Prepare dal, sabzi, gravy, rice, chapati/roti, paratha and other Indian dishes.
• Have good knowledge of Maharashtrian and North Indian home-style food.
• Prepare common breakfast items such as poha, upma, sabudana khichdi, paratha, idli/dosa etc.
• Follow standard recipes, quantities and portion sizes provided by Vicky’s Kitchen.
• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of vegetables, raw materials and cooked food.
• Plan cooking efficiently so food is ready on time for packing and dispatch.
• Minimize food wastage and control the use of oil, spices and ingredients.
• Coordinate with the kitchen helper for preparation, cleaning and packing.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quantity and presentation.
• Inform management in advance about shortage of ingredients or any kitchen requirement.
• Skills RequiredMinimum 2–3 years of relevant cooking experience preferred.
• Experience in tiffin, mess, restaurant or bulk/home-style cooking preferred.
• Good Indian cooking skills.
• Good chapati/roti-making skills.
• Ability to cook for 30–50 people.
• Good sense of taste and seasoning.
• Fast, organized and disciplined.
• Strong focus on hygiene.
• Willingness to follow recipes and instructions.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good teamwork and positive attitude.

ImportantThis is a commercial tiffin kitchen, not a household cooking position.

A paid practical trial will be conducted before final selection.

Candidates who can consistently produce tasty, hygienic and home-style food in bulk are preferred.

About the Role Vicky’s Kitchen is looking for a Kitchen Helper to assist our cook in the preparation and packing of home-style tiffins.

The candidate should be hardworking, clean, punctual and comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesWash, clean and cut vegetables and other ingredients.
• Assist the cook with daily food preparation.
• Help with dough preparation and chapati/roti making.
• Assist with preparation of dal, vegetables, rice and other dishes.
• Help with tiffin portioning and packing.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, work surfaces and equipment.
• Wash and organize utensils.
• Assist in receiving, cleaning and storing vegetables and ingredients.
• Keep raw materials properly organized.
• Follow food hygiene and safety practices.
• Help ensure that all tiffins are packed correctly and on time.
• Minimize food wastage.
• Support the cook and other kitchen activities as required.
• Skills RequiredPrevious kitchen/helper/restaurant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Indian food preparation.
• Good vegetable cutting and preparation skills.
• Basic chapati/dough preparation skills preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
• Physically active and comfortable standing for extended periods.
