Job Description
Pick & Packer Work Profile – Dark Store Operations
A Dark Store Pick & Packer works in a small warehouse or fulfillment center that handles online orders for platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and company-owned websites/apps.
These stores are not open for walk-in customers and are used only for online order processing and fast delivery.
Job Responsibilities
Receive online orders from Amazon, Flipkart, and company website/app
Pick products from racks/shelves according to order list
Verify item name, quantity, size, and quality
Pack products safely using boxes, bags, bubble wrap, or tape
Label parcels and prepare them for dispatch
Scan barcodes using handheld scanner/mobile device
Sort orders according to delivery routes or courier partners
Maintain stock accuracy and warehouse cleanliness
Support inward/outward inventory operations
Follow FIFO and safety procedures inside the dark store
Daily Work Process
Order received in system
Picker collects items from storage racks
Packer checks and packs items
Parcel labeled and scanned
Orders handed to delivery team/courier
Skills Required
Basic English/Hindi reading
Mobile scanner handling
Fast and accurate picking
Team coordination
Physical stamina for standing/walking
