Job Description - Senior Executive -Production Planning and control (PPC)

Report To: Head of Production

Job responsibilities

The role of a Senior Executive -Production Planning and control (PPC) will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the production process to ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality jewellery products:

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Production Planning:

Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.

2.   Capacity Planning:

Analyze production capacity and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity.

3.   Material Planning:

Ensure adequate inventory levels of raw materials, components, and packaging materials to support production plans.

4.   

Production

Scheduling:

Create

and manage production schedules to ensure smooth workflow, minimize delays, and

meet deadlines.

5.   Production Monitoring:

Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure production targets are met.

6.   Quality Control:

Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.

7.   Inventory Management:

Manage inventory levels of finished goods, work-in-progress, and raw materials to minimize waste and optimize storage space.

8.   Supply Chain Coordination:

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.

9.   Reporting and Analysis:

Provide regular production reports, analyze production data, and identify areas for improvement. 100% Use of GATI software.

10.Team Collaboration:

Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production operations.
