About the RoleWe are looking for a smart, hands-on and solution-oriented Maintenance / Facility Manager to take complete responsibility for the maintenance and facility requirements of a restaurant outlet.

This is not an office-sitting or desk-based role. The candidate will be required to be on the floor and actively involved in resolving issues whenever required.

The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge across multiple areas and, most importantly, the ability to get things done quickly and effectively.

• Key ResponsibilitiesTake overall responsibility for the maintenance and facilities of the restaurant outlet.
• Be available on the floor whenever maintenance or operational issues arise.
• Personally attend to and troubleshoot issues whenever possible.
• Coordinate and supervise electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, carpenters and other vendors.
• Handle basic troubleshooting related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC/AC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, exhaust systems and general maintenance.
• Ensure restaurant equipment and infrastructure remain operational.
• Identify potential problems and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and ensure jobs are completed properly and on time.
• Follow up with vendors until the issue is completely resolved.
• Ensure urgent breakdowns are addressed quickly to avoid disruption to restaurant operations.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, AMC and vendor activities.
• Monitor maintenance-related requirements and ensure necessary materials/spares are available.
• Take ownership of tasks from identifying the problem to getting it resolved.
• Support the restaurant team with any facility-related requirement whenever needed.
• Candidate RequirementsRestaurant / Hospitality experience is highly preferred.
• Good practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, AC/HVAC and general maintenance.
• Should understand restaurant infrastructure and equipment.
• Should be hands-on and willing to work on the floor.
• Should not be someone who only delegates work to technicians.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Smart, proactive and resourceful.
• Excellent coordination and vendor-management skills.
• Should be able to handle multiple issues simultaneously.
• Must have a “get the job done” attitude.
• Should be flexible and available whenever an urgent maintenance requirement arises.
• Extremely senior candidates are not required; practical knowledge and capability are more important than designation or seniority.
