Senior Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant – Accounts & Compliance to manage accounting and statutory compliance for Sparsh Liaison Services LLP and its sister concern companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate books of accounts for multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements, MIS and financial reports.
• Handle GST return preparation, filing and reconciliations.
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, returns and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file applicable Professional Tax (PT) and ESIC returns.
• Conduct regular bank, ledger, vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain statutory records, challans, returns and supporting documentation.
• Support statutory, tax and internal audits, including preparation of schedules and responding to audit requirements.
• Coordinate with the company’s CA, tax consultants and auditors.
• Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure all statutory filings and payments are completed within timelines.
• Identify accounting or compliance issues proactively and bring them to management’s attention.

Candidate Profile

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, PT and ESIC.
• Experience in preparing P&L statements and handling multiple entities.
• Good knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Experience in audit coordination and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership and ability to work independently.
• CA/CA Inter/CS/Commerce qualification will be an advantage.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented and capable of independently managing accounting and statutory compliance across multiple group entities.
