Job Title: Analytics & Reporting Analyst / Manager Department: Business Analytics / MIS / Strategy Location: Bengaluru Reporting To: Analytics Lead / Business Head
Role Overview
The Analytics & Reporting professional will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, developing reports and dashboards, monitoring business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics
 Analyze business, customer, operational, and financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
 Generate actionable insights to support business growth and process improvement.
 Conduct ad hoc analysis and present recommendations to stakeholders.
 Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
 Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
Reporting & Dashboarding
 Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
 Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and accuracy.
 Create executive-level presentations and performance reports.
 Ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
 Track business performance against targets and prepare variance analysis.
Stakeholder Management
 Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements.
 Partner with technology and data teams for data availability and enhancements.
 Communicate insights effectively to senior management and key stakeholders.
Process Improvement
This is an Internal document.
 Identify opportunities for reporting automation and optimization.
 Standardize reporting frameworks and governance practices.
 Support data-driven decision-making across functions.
Required Skills
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA preferred).
 SQL for data extraction and analysis.
 Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
 Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
 Knowledge of statistical analysis and reporting methodologies.
 Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
 2-8 years of experience in Analytics, MIS, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or Data Analysis.
 Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
 Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
 Dashboard adoption and stakeholder satisfaction.
 Reporting automation and efficiency improvements.
 Quality of business insights generated.
 Contribution to business decision-making and performance improvement.
Preferred Tools: SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, SAS, Alteryx, Snowflake, Azure Data Services.
