Business Automation & AI Analyst 

 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a bright and highly motivated Automation & AI Analyst to join our team in evaluating, supporting, and helping advance automation and AI initiatives across the business. In this role, you will collaborate with regional stakeholders to assess business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support practical solutions that reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency.

 

This role supports the team’s broader direction toward automation, AI, and approved low-code/no-code solutions by helping evaluate business needs, identify opportunities where these tools may add value, and contribute to adoption, enablement, and process improvement efforts. While this role is not primarily responsible for developing low-code/no-code solutions, it plays an important part in helping the organization recognize where these capabilities can support business outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Job Specific Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Core Responsibility 1: Evaluate Business Processes for Automation, AI, and Solution Opportunities 

• Assess existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve, simplify, standardize, or augment business processes through automation and AI.

• Help determine where approved tools, including low-code/no-code capabilities, may support business needs and operational efficiency.

• Gather and clarify business requirements to support solution evaluation and prioritization.

• Develop business cases and recommendations for leadership review.

 

Core Responsibility 2: Support Automation and AI Initiative Delivery 

• Support the coordination and implementation of automation and AI initiatives from intake through rollout.

• Assist with testing, documentation, issue tracking, and stakeholder readiness activities.

• Maintain a working understanding of approved automation, AI, and Generative AI tools to effectively support project delivery.

• Contribute to the successful adoption and ongoing use of EMPOWER Assist.

 

Core Responsibility 3: Translate Business Needs into Practical Recommendations 

• Analyze stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable opportunities for automation, AI, and process improvement.

• Identify opportunities to embed AI-enabled support into day-to-day workflows where appropriate.

• Help define practical usage approaches, including prompt development and good practices for EMPOWER Assist.

• Support alignment between business needs and scalable, supportable solutions.

 

Core Responsibility 4: Promote Awareness, Adoption, and Knowledge Sharing 

• Support communication and knowledge-sharing efforts that encourage adoption of automation, AI, and related tools across teams.

• Share insights, lessons learned, and practical examples of process improvement opportunities.

• Assist in developing materials, guidance, and communications that help stakeholders understand available capabilities.

• Encourage responsible and effective use of approved technologies.

 

Core Responsibility 5: Collaborate Across Teams and Stakeholders 

• Work within a collaborative global team to support best-in-class automation and AI outcomes.

• Partner with internal stakeholders, developers, and functional teams to advance process improvement initiatives.

• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences regarding opportunities, progress, and outcomes.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and practical problem-solving.

Education / Knowledge / Experience:

 

Essential: 

 

• 3+ years in an operational or technology-focused role.

• Proven background in evaluating, managing, or improving business processes.

• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies and methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

• Innovative and conceptual thinking capability.

• Experience assessing business needs and identifying opportunities for process improvement through technology.

• Familiarity with automation, AI, and digital productivity tools in a business environment.

 

Preferred: 

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an Advanced Degree.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and SharePoint.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code concepts and where these capabilities can support business process improvement.

• Familiarity with AI technologies and prompt engineering.

• Proven experience supporting or contributing to technology-driven solutions.

• Passion for making processes more efficient and a continuous improvement mindset.

• Strong communication experience with senior leadership.
