Based in Mumbai, you will be a strategic partner to Business Unit, Marketing and Sales leaders. You will connect the dots across customer acquisition, client relationship management, online interaction, and market data. Your goal is to deliver clear and actionable recommendations to improve planning, execution, and growth. Your work will power smarter decisions at pace, scaling from brand-level questions to enterprise impact.

Accountabilities:

• Strategic Business Partnership: Partner with senior leaders to frame priority questions, diagnose performance and identify growth opportunities; act as a trusted internal consultant who constructively challenges assumptions and enables evidence-based decisions.
• Insight Generation and Commercial Performance: Analyze business benchmarks, brand performance, customer engagement, market dynamics and field-force important metrics; deliver deep-dive analyses, forecasts and scenario evaluations that advise strategy, planning and performance reviews.
• Integrated Data Foundations: Integrate sales, CRM, digital engagement, Veeva and IQVIA data to create a well-rounded business view; strengthen data quality, governance, validation and documentation to increase confidence and adoption.
• Build scalable Power BI dashboards, analytical applications, and self-service insight solutions. Use SQL and modern analytics tools to prepare, integrate, model, and analyze complex datasets. Develop high-value predictive analytics, machine-learning, and GenAI use cases for customer prioritisation, forecasting, and automated insight generation.
• Automation and Reuse: Create reusable solutions and automate recurring workflows to free up time for higher-value insight and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with technology teams and vendors to develop analytical and AI solutions from concept to pilot and broad adoption. Provide collaborators with training, data storytelling, and feedback loops.
• Commercial Excellence and Field-force Effectiveness: Lead analytics for profiling, segmentation, targeting and customer engagement planning; improve territory productivity, call planning, execution quality and resource deployment; develop performance scorecards and support monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews.
• Broader Impact: Start by solving immediate commercial problems, then scale guidelines, assets and standards that uplift decision quality and speed across the organization.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Master's degree or MBA with equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Management or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong commercial competence, structured problem-solving, data storytelling and customer management.
• Ability to translate ambiguous needs into analytical approaches, solutions and recommendations.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• 6-10 years of proven experience in business insights, analytics, commercial excellence, data science or consulting.
• Hands-on experience in data modelling, dashboards, statistical analysis and business intelligence.
• 2-3 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare or life-sciences experience.
• Solid understanding of Python or R, with exposure to AI/ML, GenAI and predictive analytics.
• Experience developing analytical applications, automation solutions or AI-enabled business tools.
• Exposure to Azure, Databricks, Snowflake or comparable cloud analytics platforms.
• Experience with Veeva, IQVIA, CRM and commercial analytics ecosystems.
• Relevant certification related to Power BI, data science, AI/ML or cloud analytics.
