Project Engineer - New Installation

 

Your main responsibilities

The primary purpose of the role is to oversee and ensure the precise fitting of elevators and escalators, adhering to technical specifications for new installations and modernization projects.

- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of elevators, escalators, and moving walks to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards, achieving quality and safety benchmarks.

- Conduct technical assessments and troubleshooting during the installation phase, identifying and resolving technical issues to maintain project timelines and operational effectiveness.

- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of installation projects, adhering to strategic project plans and schedules.

- Maintain detailed documentation on project progress, including technical reports, checklists, and compliance records with regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to communicate and implement installation plans efficiently and effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.

- Facilitate effective communication with clients and external partners to ensure project requirements and safety standards are clearly understood and met, addressing queries or concerns promptly.

- Engage with colleagues, contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to project plans and to address any safety or technical questions effectively.

 

What you bring

Qualification: Degree / Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics) or ITI

 

Professional Experience :

2 to 6 years in the Elevator or manufacturing industry
