Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced person with 5 Years in SAP Finance Senior Technology Associate role to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for business facing support & development for various applications in SAP Finance -  GL, AR, AP , Asset accounting, Banking

• The role requires the person to learn business processes within the function,  contribute to execution of different projects activities and ensure the smooth execution of critical business processes.

• The person will be required to collaborate with business teams / technical teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.

• Ability to understand the requirements related to business problems , project deliverables and deliver the proposed solution

 

Responsibilities :

• Applying SAP Finance applications knowledge and experience across : General Accounting, Bank Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Asset Accounting, integration with SD & MM.

• Utilizing ABAP debugging and Report Painter knowledge as an added advantage.

• S/4 HANA experience would be an added advantage 

• Having exposure in Finance analytics, automation or AI would be an added advantage

• Preferred with process knowledge of the manufacturing/consumer goods industry.

• Delivering day-to-day application support, including 24x7 emergency response.

• Managing and performing the design, configuration, and testing of SAP and other applications for projects, upgrades, implementations, and rollouts.

• Maintaining high standards of system performance and reliability by following procedures, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement.

• Enforcing global governance, adhering to project steps, and maintaining proper documentation.

• Participate in engaging with business teams to gather requirements and recommend optimal solutions.

• Drafting functional specifications for developers to support custom developments.

• Staying up to date with technological advancements in SAP and related technologies, adapting through self-learning and research.

• Mentoring and coaching junior developer resources to strengthen team capability.

 

Required  Qualifications :

• Any Bachelor’s Degree( Commerce graduates preferred),any post graduate, CA, ICWA/CMA

• Sound knowledge any one area in General accounting, Accounts Receivable, SAP Banking, Asset accounting, Business process knowledge in Customer invoice , Vendor Invoice, Payment, bank reconciliation, Month end close process

• Strong oral & written communication skills

• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically 

• Ability to seek and identify root cause

• Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies

 

Preferred Qualifications :

• Working in the SAP S/4 Hana environment.

• Participated in any one ECC/S4 project implementation or rollouts.
