Job Description – Quality Inspector

Experience: 0–3 years

• Key ResponsibilitiesConduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of automotive components.
• Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify, record, and segregate defective and non-conforming components.
• Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality Engineers for resolution of quality issues.
• Follow Control Plans, SOPs, Work Instructions, and customer quality requirements.
• Support quality improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and defect reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and traceability of inspected components.
• Required SkillsGood understanding of automobile components and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.
• Good observation and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of quality tools and inspection procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Preferred Candidates Candidates with experience in automobile OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive component manufacturing, machining, welding, sheet metal, assembly, or EV manufacturing will be preferred.
