Kindergarten Teacher

Job SummaryWe are looking for a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children. The teacher will be responsible for planning age-appropriate activities, teaching basic concepts, and supporting the overall academic, social, and emotional development of children.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct age-appropriate classroom activities for kindergarten students.
• Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colours, shapes, phonics, and general awareness.
• Use creative methods such as stories, rhymes, games, art, crafts, and educational activities to make learning engaging.
• Develop children's communication, social, motor, and cognitive skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment.
• Monitor children's learning, behaviour, and overall development.
• Provide individual attention and support to children who need additional assistance.
• Prepare worksheets, classroom activities, and learning materials.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
• Maintain attendance, student records, and other classroom documentation.
• Encourage good habits, discipline, teamwork, sharing, and respectful behaviour.
• Participate in school events, celebrations, activities, and parent-teacher meetings.
• RequirementsGraduate / Diploma / NTT / Montessori / ECCE / B.Ed. or relevant qualification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Kindergarten / Pre-Primary / Nursery Teacher will be an advantage.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, caring, creative, and comfortable working with young children.
• Ability to create an engaging and child-friendly learning environment.
• Basic knowledge of activity-based and play-based learning methods.
