Job SummaryWe are looking for a customer-oriented Service Advisor to handle customer vehicle service requirements, coordinate with workshop technicians, provide repair estimates, and ensure timely vehicle delivery with customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Handling

• Welcome customers visiting the service centre.
• Understand and record vehicle complaints and service requirements.
• Explain the service process, estimated cost and delivery time.

2. Vehicle Inspection

• Conduct preliminary vehicle inspection with the customer.
• Prepare vehicle inspection reports and job cards.
• Record existing damages and vehicle condition.

3. Job Card & Service Process

• Create job cards in the DMS system.
• Explain and obtain customer approval for additional repairs.
• Coordinate with technicians regarding vehicle service and repair work.

4. Workshop Coordination

• Monitor vehicle repair progress.
• Coordinate with workshop supervisors and technicians.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced as per Mahindra standards.

5. Estimation & Billing

• Prepare service and repair cost estimates.
• Explain labour charges, spare parts costs and additional expenses.
• Coordinate with the billing department for final invoices.

6. Vehicle Delivery

• Ensure all repair and service work is completed properly.
• Conduct final vehicle inspection before delivery.
• Explain completed work and bills to customers.
• Hand over vehicles within the committed delivery time.

7. Customer Follow-up

• Follow up with customers after vehicle delivery.
• Handle customer complaints and service-related queries.
• Maintain good customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction.
• Required SkillsGood communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of automobile mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to coordinate with technicians and workshop teams.
• Basic computer knowledge and DMS software experience.
• Problem-solving and customer complaint-handling skills.
• Knowledge of Kannada is preferred; English communication is an added advantage.
• Candidate RequirementsExperience: 1–5 years in an automobile dealership or authorised service centre.
• Qualification: PUC / Diploma / Degree.
• Preferred experience with Mahindra, Tata, Maruti, Hyundai or other automobile brands.
• Freshers with an Automobile / Mechanical Diploma can also be considered.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
• Labour revenue and service revenue targets.
• Additional job approval percentage.
