Job Purpose:

To provide professional, safe and high-quality spa and wellness treatments to guests while ensuring a relaxing and comfortable experience, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, grooming, guest privacy and service excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesSpa Treatments & Guest Service

• Perform professional spa treatments including body massages, body therapies, scrubs and other treatments as per the Spa treatment menu and established SOPs.
• Welcome guests warmly and understand their treatment requirements and preferences.
• Conduct appropriate pre-treatment consultation and identify any health conditions, allergies, injuries or contraindications before commencing treatment.
• Explain treatment procedures to guests and ensure their comfort throughout the treatment.
• Provide treatments according to prescribed duration, sequence and quality standards.
• Recommend suitable treatments and wellness services based on guest requirements without making medical claims.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and respond professionally to guest queries, requests or concerns.

Treatment Room & Hygiene

• Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment and ensure all required products, linen and equipment are available.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in treatment rooms and spa areas.
• Ensure proper changing of linen, towels and other materials after every treatment.
• Clean and sanitize treatment equipment and work areas as per prescribed hygiene standards.
• Follow proper personal hygiene, hand hygiene and grooming standards at all times.
• Ensure oils, creams and other treatment products are properly stored and used as per established procedures.

Safety & Professional Conduct

• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries, guest privacy and dignity during all treatments.
• Follow proper draping techniques and established Spa protocols during treatments.
• Immediately report any guest discomfort, adverse reaction, injury or unusual incident to the Spa Manager/Supervisor.
• Do not perform treatments where contraindications exist or where treatment may pose a risk to the guest.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest information and treatment details.
• Follow all Resort policies relating to safety, hygiene, security and professional conduct.

Spa Operations

• Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and guest preferences wherever required.
• Coordinate with Spa Reception regarding appointments, treatment schedules and guest requirements.
• Ensure timely readiness for all scheduled appointments.
• Monitor treatment products and supplies and inform the supervisor regarding replenishment requirements.
• Ensure economical and appropriate usage of spa products, linen and other consumables.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of treatment products and operating supplies.
• Support Spa promotions, packages and treatment upselling wherever appropriate.
• Participate in departmental briefings, training programs and skill-development activities.

The incumbent shall also perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Spa Manager/Management from time to time in the interest of smooth Spa and Resort operations.
