Barista

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and customer-focused Senior Barista to lead daily coffee preparation and beverage service. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso machines, latte art, and café operations. The Senior Barista will ensure high-quality beverages, excellent customer service, cleanliness, and smooth daily operations while supporting and training junior baristas.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other beverages.

- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.

- Demonstrate expertise in coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art.

- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and serving standards.

- Train, guide, and supervise junior baristas and other café staff.

- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout the café.

- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.

- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and waste reduction.

- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.

- Support daily café operations, opening and closing procedures, and cash handling.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Barista, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.

- Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, espresso preparation, and brewing techniques.

- Expertise in latte art, milk frothing, and beverage presentation.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to train and motivate team members.

- Knowledge of café hygiene, food safety, and inventory management.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment.

- Experience operating professional coffee machines and grinders.

- Previous experience in team leadership or barista training.
