Typical Duties & Responsibilities
- Front Office & Reception: Greet patients, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain visitor registers.
- Clinic Hygiene: Keep the waiting area, front desk, and treatment rooms clean, tidy, and sanitized.
- Sterilization: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following safety guidelines.
- Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, managing suction, and keeping patients comfortable (training is often provided for freshers).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass; a degree or basic computer literacy is a plus for handling registers and phone calls.
- Skills: Good local communication skills, polite behavior, punctuality, and a willingness to learn basic medical disinfection protocols.
- Experience: Freshers are widely accepted since many clinics provide on-the-job training, though 1 to 2 years of prior clinic experience can increase your pay.
