Job Description

The LIC Bima Sakhi (Mahila Career Agent) Scheme is a 3-year stipend-based program for women launched by LIC of India⁠. It is designed to train women to become insurance advisors and agents while earning a stipend and commissions.  

Main Responsibilities

As a Bima Sakhi, you will:

  • Explain LIC insurance plans to individuals and families.
  • Identify prospective customers and generate leads.
  • Help customers choose suitable insurance policies.
  • Assist in policy proposal forms and documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with policyholders.
  • Promote financial literacy and insurance awareness in the community.
  • Support policy servicing and renewals.
