Job Description

  • Maintain daily accounting, bookkeeping, general ledger, cash book, bank book and journal entries.
  • Record and verify sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments with proper supporting documents.
  • Perform bank, customer, vendor and employee advance reconciliations.
  • Manage GST, TDS, e-invoicing and other statutory compliance activities in coordination with CA/consultants.
  • Monitor customer outstanding, receivables ageing and support timely collection follow-ups.
  • Verify vendor bills, track payables and coordinate vendor payment processing.
  • Track project-wise material and other costs and highlight budget variances and cost risks.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory audits and reconcile Store/ERP records with actual stock.
  • Verify material receipts, issues, transfers, returns and project-wise material consumption.
  • Identify and report stock shortages, excess, damaged, obsolete and non-moving inventory.
  • Maintain daily cash position and prepare cash-flow forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly financial MIS, reconciliations and management reports.
  • Support monthly/year-end closing, audits and preparation of financial statements.
  • Maintain proper accounting documentation and ensure compliance with company approval processes.
  • Coordinate with Purchase, Store, Sales, HR/Admin, Project and other departments for finance-related activities.
