Fitter Technician

Designation: ITI Fitter/ Electrician

Shift: General

Mon to sat working

Key responsibilities:Support

for sub assembly, wiring, testing and quality control tasks as assigned.

Maintain machinery and equipment

on the shop floor as per applicable SOP / work instruction.

Carryout out tasks such as

material handling and maintain assigned tools, PPE equipment as and when used.

Take active participation in

continuous improvement drive such as Kaizens, reporting Hazards, attend shop

floor daily meetings,

Maintain a clean and organized

work area, Housekeeping, 5S etc.

Mandatory expectations to be fulfilled by allocated workmen and

supervisor:

Follow ABB Code of conducting

during working and interaction at ABB premises

Ensure completion of tasks given

with-in stipulated working hours  in view of extended hours (if any)

will not qualify for additional compensation.

Operator must be keen on

receiving trainings for development / upskilling.

Follow standard operating

procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

ITI certification in relevant

trade (e.g., Fitter, Electrician, wireman, Welder etc.).

Previous experience in a

manufacturing or shop floor environment is preferred.

Basic understanding of mechanical

and electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret

technical drawings and manuals.

Strong problem-solving skills and

attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork

skills

Willingness to work in shifts.
