Interior Designer

Roles & Responsibilities:-

1. Design Support

• Assist senior designers in developing design concepts and themes
• Help in preparing mood boards, references, and initial design ideas
• Support in selecting color schemes, materials, and finishes

2. Drafting & Drawings

• Prepare 2D drawings such as floor plans, elevations, and basic working drawings
• Make revisions as per feedback from senior designers
• Ensure drawings are accurate and properly detailed

3. 3D Modeling & Rendering

• Create basic 3D models using SketchUp or similar software
• Assist in rendering views using V-Ray or other tools
• Modify models and renders based on design changes

4. Material & Vendor Coordination

• Research materials, furniture, and finishes as instructed
• Visit markets/showrooms if required
• Coordinate with vendors for samples, quotations, and availability

5. Site Visits & Assistance

• Visit project sites to understand execution process
• Assist in site measurements and documentation
• Support senior designers in supervising ongoing work

6. Documentation

• Maintain project files, drawings, and records
• Organize design data, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material lists
• Ensure all documents are updated regularly

7. Client Support

• Assist in preparing presentations for client meetings
• Make changes in designs as per client feedback
• Support in explaining basic design concepts when required

 8. Coordination with Team

• Work closely with senior designers, site supervisors, and other team members
• Follow instructions and meet assigned deadlines
• Maintain clear communication within the team

9. Learning & Skill Development

• Continuously improve software skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray)
• Stay updated with design trends, materials, and techniques
• Be open to feedback and actively learn from senior team members

10. Time Management

• Handle multiple small tasks efficiently
• Complete assigned work within deadlines
• Maintain discipline and professionalism at work
