Operations Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and creative Interior Designer with minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in the furniture manufacturing and home interior industry. The candidate should have strong knowledge of furniture, home interiors, space planning, client handling, and team management.

The candidate will be responsible for managing interior projects, coordinating with production and installation teams, improving operational productivity, and ensuring timely and quality completion of projects.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop home interior and furniture solutions as per client requirements.
• Prepare and understand 2D/3D interior designs, layouts and furniture drawings.
• Manage day-to-day interior project operations from design to execution.
• Coordinate with production, site, installation and other internal teams.
• Handle and guide the design/execution team effectively.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, quality and productivity.
• Ensure proper coordination between design, manufacturing and installation.
• Understand furniture materials, hardware, laminates, plywood/MDF, fittings and accessories.
• Conduct site visits and understand measurements and site requirements.
• Communicate with clients and understand their design and functional requirements.
• Resolve design, production and execution-related issues.
• Improve team productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ensure projects are completed within committed timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain proper project-related records, drawings, measurements and client requirements.
• Support management in improving business performance and customer satisfaction.
• Required SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience in Interior Design.
• Relevant experience in Furniture Manufacturing / Modular Furniture / Home Interiors preferred.
• Strong knowledge of furniture design and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of home interior design, space planning and materials.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Good team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good knowledge of measurements, furniture dimensions and site execution.
• Ability to improve team productivity and operational performance.
• Knowledge of interior/furniture design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar tools will be preferred.
