Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced GST Accountant to manage GST compliance, accounting entries, reconciliations, and statutory filings. The candidate should have good knowledge of GST laws, Tally/ERP, and accounting processes.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.
• Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase register and identify discrepancies.
• Handle GST input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and follow up for mismatches.
• Maintain accurate sales, purchase, debit/credit note and GST records.
• Pass GST-related accounting entries and ensure proper ledger maintenance.
• Handle GST registrations, amendments and cancellation when required.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors and tax consultants regarding GST matters.
• Assist in GST audits, assessments and departmental notices.
• Ensure timely payment of GST and other statutory dues.
• Prepare GST-related reports, MIS and reconciliation statements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for statutory compliance.
• Keep updated with changes in GST rules, notifications and regulations.
• Assist in general accounting activities as required.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles.
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP and MS Excel.
• Experience in GST return filing and reconciliation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet statutory deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

QualificationB.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.

Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in GST compliance, accounting, reconciliation and statutory filings will be preferred.
