Barista

Role Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Barista (ranging from eager freshers to experienced mid-level makers) to join our team. In this role, you will greet guests, craft exceptional espresso and tea drinks, handle point-of-sale transactions, and help maintain a clean, welcoming shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Drink Preparation: Make and serve hot and cold beverages (espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, cold brews) according to standard recipes and quality rules.
• Customer Service: Greet every guest with a smile, explain menu items, note custom preferences (milk alternatives, syrup pumps, extra shots), and offer tailored recommendations.
• Latte Art & Craft (Mid-level focus): For mid-level candidates, consistently pour clean latte art (hearts, rosettas, tulips) and help train or guide junior staff.
• Cash & POS Handling: Process cash, card, and digital/UPI payments accurately through the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Hygiene & Cleanliness: Wipe down counters, sanitize steam wands and equipment, wash glassware/utensils, and follow local food safety and health guidelines.
• Inventory & Restocking: Check stock levels of coffee beans, milks, cups, and syrups throughout the shift and restock the station as needed.
• Equipment Care: Operate, dial-in, and clean espresso machines, grinders, and brewers; report any technical faults right away.
