Cook / Chef

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to lead the kitchen of our upcoming Middle Eastern / Levantine café in Navi Mumbai.

• 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience.
• Prepare and execute Middle Eastern, Levantine and Mediterranean dishes with consistency and high quality.
• Develop, test and standardize recipes in line with the café's concept.
• Ensure consistent taste, presentation, portion sizes and food quality.
• Plan and manage daily mise en place and kitchen operations.
• Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Manage inventory, storage, ingredient usage and kitchen wastage.
• Monitor portion control and food costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and communicate daily ingredient requirements.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff.
• Maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations during peak service hours.
• Assist in setting up kitchen systems and processes for the new café.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to standardized recipes and operating procedures.
• Prior experience in Middle Eastern, Levantine, Lebanese, Mediterranean, Turkish or similar cuisine preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern ingredients, spices, sauces and cooking techniques.
• Hands-on experience preparing dishes such as hummus, falafel, pita, shawarma, grilled items, dips, salads and rice-based preparations.
