Logistics Operations Head

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Head to manage and oversee end-to-end logistics operations for our pulses and grains import-export business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including import, export, transportation and delivery.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, transporters, freight forwarders and vendors.
• Handle shipment planning, container movement, documentation and delivery schedules.
• Monitor logistics costs, freight charges and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Manage warehouse coordination, inventory movement and dispatch activities.
• Ensure timely clearance of import and export shipments.
• Handle logistics-related issues, delays and operational challenges.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Monitor team performance and prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with import-export regulations and logistics procedures.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of import-export logistics and shipping operations.
• Experience in handling CHA, freight forwarding, transportation and warehouse coordination.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of import-export documentation and logistics costing.
