Store Sales Executive

Oylar is an emerging FMCG brand focused on quality food essentials. We aim to build a strong hyperlocal presence through retail stores, apartment communities, local markets, direct deliveries and online platforms. We are looking for a proactive, sales-oriented Executive who can manage daily store operations while actively contributing to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

A. Store Operations

• Open and close the store according to the prescribed schedule.
• Maintain store cleanliness, product displays, shelf organisation and pricing labels.
• Ensure all products are properly stocked, arranged and displayed.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, batch numbers and damaged products.
• Maintain daily stock registers and report low-stock items for replenishment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for opening, closing and store maintenance.

B. Sales & Customer Service

• Attend to walk-in customers, understand their requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Explain product features, quality, usage, pricing and available offers.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Encourage repeat purchases, customer referrals and subscription orders.
• Maintain customer details and purchase records with appropriate consent.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

C. Billing & Cash Management

• Generate bills and invoices using the prescribed billing system.
• Accept and reconcile cash, UPI and other authorised payments.
• Maintain accurate daily sales and payment records.
• Complete end-of-day cash reconciliation and report discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure no unauthorised discounts, credit sales or cash transactions.

D. Local Marketing & Field Sales

• Visit nearby housing societies and residential communities to promote Oylar.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, sampling activities and society stalls.
• Distribute approved promotional materials and communicate offers to prospective customers.
• Support weekend stalls, local market activations and promotional campaigns.
• Generate leads and follow up with interested customers to convert them into buyers.
• Support customer deliveries and dispatch coordination when required.

E. Inventory & Order Fulfilment

• Receive stock against delivery documents and verify quantities and product condition.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately.
• Maintain records of inward stock, outward stock, returns and stock adjustments.
• Coordinate with delivery personnel and ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Assist with orders received through the company website and other sales channels.

F. Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Submit daily sales, stock and cash reports.
• Maintain customer enquiries, follow-ups, repeat orders and lead-conversion records.
• Track sales against assigned targets and report reasons for shortfalls.
• Use company-provided spreadsheets, mobile applications or POS software.
• Share competitor pricing, customer feedback and local market insights.

Eligibility & Skills

• Minimum 12th pass; a graduate qualification is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail, FMCG, grocery, supermarket or store operations preferred.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and a sales-oriented attitude may apply.
• Basic knowledge of billing, cash handling, inventory and MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Comfortable using smartphones, WhatsApp Business, UPI and digital billing systems.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and Marathi; basic English is desirable.
• Familiarity with Kharghar and nearby Navi Mumbai residential communities is preferred.
• Willingness to undertake local field visits and support promotional activities.
• Honest, punctual, organised, energetic and comfortable working with sales targets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured through clearly defined daily and monthly targets, including:

• Achievement of assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Number of customer enquiries converted into purchases.
• Repeat customers and customer retention.
• Accuracy of billing, cash reconciliation and inventory records.
• Stock availability, product rotation and expiry control.
• Number of society visits, leads generated and promotional activities completed.
• Order-picking accuracy and timely dispatch.
• Compliance with store SOPs and reporting deadlines.
• Working Conditions - Full-time, on-site role based at Oylar's Kharghar store.
• Working days, shift timings and weekly off will be communicated at the time of hiring.
• Local travel within Kharghar and nearby areas may be required.
• The role involves both store-based work and outdoor sales activities.
