Chocolate Maker – Bakery Job Description

Job Title: Chocolate Maker / Chocolatier

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce chocolates, truffles, pralines, ganache, and other chocolate products.
  • Handle chocolate melting, tempering, moulding, coating, and decorating.
  • Follow standard recipes and maintain consistent taste, texture, and quality.
  • Prepare chocolate fillings, toppings, sauces, and decorations.
  • Operate and maintain chocolate-making equipment and tools.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of chocolate and raw materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and equipment.
  • Check the quality of ingredients and finished products.
  • Assist in developing new chocolate products and designs.
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
