Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to support our project BOQ preparation, and daily documentation workflows. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical site measurements and organized data reporting.
Key Responsibilities
BOQ & Estimation: Prepare, format, and update accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimation sheets for civil and finishing works based on site specifications.
Data Management: Maintain structured databases for vendor rate lists, material specs, site procurement logs, and contractor billing.
General Administrative Support: Handle routine agency documentation, invoice cross-verification, and project tracker updates.
Required Software Proficiency
Advanced MS Excel: Mastery of formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS), pivot tables, rate analysis templates, and automated BOQ formats.
General Tools: MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Required Qualifications:
Relevant practical experience in data entry for construction firms.
1–3 years of experience preparing BOQs and managing estimation data for civil projects.
Strong numerical accuracy and understanding of basic civil construction terminology (concrete, masonry, finishes, plumbing/electrical items).
High attention to detail with quick typing speed and structured data entry habits.
