Driver

The driver should have excellent and confident driving skills, with at least 15 years of professional/family driving experience. He should be comfortable driving both manual and automatic cars in city traffic, highways, at night, and in rain or fog. He must have good knowledge of Delhi/NCR routes, use Google Maps confidently, follow traffic rules, maintain safe speed and distance, and drive smoothly without rash or aggressive driving. Good experience in hill and mountain driving is essential, including steep roads, sharp turns, narrow roads, uphill/downhill driving, fog and difficult weather conditions. Experience in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Kashmir or other hill areas will be preferred.

The driver will be responsible for passenger safety, punctuality, cleanliness and basic care of the vehicle. He should check fuel, tyres, brakes, lights and basic fluids, report any vehicle problem immediately and ensure timely servicing. He must be polite, well-mannered, reliable and maintain complete confidentiality regarding the family and employer. He should not use a mobile phone while driving, smoke in the car, drive under the influence of alcohol or use the vehicle for personal work without permission. He should be comfortable with long-distance and outstation travel, assist with luggage and children when required, and know how to handle basic emergencies such as punctures, breakdowns and accidents.
