Factory Manager

The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day factory operations, ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining inventory and quality data, and handling basic commercial activities such as invoicing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Process Management

• Understand and manage all manufacturing processes followed in the factory
• Plan daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders
• Coordinate with supervisors and workers to maintain productivity
• Monitor machine utilization, manpower deployment, and material flow

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain records of raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods
• Track inward and outward movement of material
• Ensure minimum stock levels and inform management of shortages
• Coordinate with purchase and dispatch teams

3. Invoicing & Commercial Knowledge

• Prepare and issue invoices, delivery challans, and related documents
• Basic understanding of GST, HSN codes, and billing formats
• Coordinate with accounts for billing accuracy and dispatch alignment

4. Quality & Data Management

• Maintain quality-related data and records
• Prepare and update documents such as:
• PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) reports
• Test reports and lab coordination records
• Training records and attendance
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and audit requirements

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure proper filing and updating of factory documents
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain SOPs, registers, and statutory records as required

6. Infrastructure & Housekeeping

• Ensure proper use of pallets, bins, crates, and storage systems
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization on the shop floor
