About the Role

ODiGiTEL Broadband is hiring Field Fiber Technicians to support our growing FTTH broadband network. The candidate will handle new broadband installations, fiber maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service visits.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall FTTH broadband connections at customer premises.
• Perform fiber splicing, jointing, termination, and cable maintenance.
• Install and configure ONT/ONU devices and Wi-Fi routers.
• Troubleshoot fiber cuts, LOS issues, low optical power, and internet connectivity problems.
• Maintain fiber distribution boxes, splitters, and junction boxes.
• Attend customer complaints and restore connectivity within the assigned timeline.
• Coordinate with the NOC and operations team.
• Maintain records of installations, complaints, and materials used.
• Requirements10th / 12th pass, ITI, or Diploma preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fiber optics, FTTH, and broadband networking.
• Experience in fiber splicing and ISP field operations is an advantage.
• Freshers with a willingness to learn can also apply.
• Must be willing to travel within the assigned service area.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
