Job Description

Role Overview

As a Field Sales Executive (POS Business), your sole operational focus will be driving EDC/POS terminal deployments across retail merchants and executing targeted revisit campaigns to win back inactive or churned EDC merchants. You will own the entire lifecycle of merchant EDC acquisition—from cold pitches to physical terminal installation and churn recovery within your assigned territory.


Core Responsibilities

  • EDC Terminal Sales & Acquisition: Conduct daily field visits to retail outlets, kirana stores, restaurants, and local merchants to pitch, sell, and deploy BharatPe EDC/POS devices.
  • Merchant Winback & Revisits: Systematically revisit existing/inactive EDC merchants, resolve outstanding operational or terminal issues, and win back merchants who switched to competitors.
  • Digital Onboarding & KYC: Collect digital KYC documentation, process merchant applications on the sales app, and execute instant terminal mapping.
  • Deployment & Handover: Complete physical terminal setup at merchant premises, ensure active connectivity, and train merchant staff on transaction acceptance.
  • Active Terminal Usage: Monitor initial transaction activity post-deployment to ensure terminal activation and volume velocity.
  • Target Achievement: Meet strict daily revisits ,and monthly Device deployment targets merchant winback KPIs.
