Job Title: Senior Head of Operations | B2B Sales, Inventory & Supply Chain

About the Role

Mahajan Mechnicals (Voltz) is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Head of Operations to lead and streamline our overall business operations, B2B sales operations, inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain planning.

We are looking for a senior professional who can build strong systems, manage teams independently, improve operational efficiency, and ensure seamless coordination between sales, inventory, procurement, warehousing, and e-commerce teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong operational experience, excellent team management skills, and a data-driven approach to inventory planning and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Operations Management

• Take ownership of day-to-day business operations and ensure smooth functioning across departments.
• Develop and implement SOPs, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.

2. B2B Sales & Team Management

• Manage and coordinate the B2B sales team to achieve business targets.
• Monitor sales performance, customer orders, pending orders, and customer complaints.
• Ensure smooth coordination between the sales team, warehouse, and dispatch teams.
• Improve order fulfilment, customer satisfaction, and overall operational performance.

3. Inventory Management & 100% Stock Accuracy

• Establish systems to maintain 100% inventory accuracy across physical stock and inventory records.
• Implement regular stock reconciliation, physical verification, and inventory control processes.
• Monitor stock movement, ageing inventory, excess stock, and slow-moving products.
• Ensure proper coordination between warehouse stock, B2B requirements, and marketplace inventory.

4. Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning

• Develop accurate inventory forecasts based on historical sales, current demand, seasonality, and future business requirements.
• Coordinate with Mr. Rawat, who manages the marketplace business, to consolidate Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplace inventory requirements with B2B demand.
• Prepare consolidated inventory and procurement plans for management approval.
• Establish reorder levels, safety stock, and replenishment systems to prevent stock shortages.

5. Hero Product Availability

• Ensure that our top-selling and high-demand products are consistently available.
• Implement proactive replenishment planning to prevent stockouts of hero products.
• Monitor inventory coverage, sales velocity, and upcoming demand to initiate timely procurement.
• Identify potential stock shortages in advance and take corrective action before sales are affected.

6. Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, warehouse, and dispatch teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Plan purchasing requirements based on consolidated demand forecasts and available inventory.
• Optimise inventory holding while maintaining product availability.
• Present inventory requirements and purchasing recommendations to management for approval.

7. Marketplace Coordination

• Work closely with the marketplace team to ensure inventory availability for Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce platforms.
• Coordinate marketplace replenishment requirements, including FBA stock planning, with overall inventory and procurement.
• Ensure that inventory planning supports both B2B sales and online business growth.
• Candidate Requirements7–12+ years of relevant experience in operations, inventory management, supply chain, or B2B business operations.
• Experience managing teams across operations, sales coordination, inventory, and fulfilment.
• Strong understanding of inventory forecasting, demand planning, procurement, and stock reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce marketplaces.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience building SOPs, implementing systems, and improving operational performance.
• Ability to take ownership, manage teams independently, and deliver measurable results.
