QA / QC Analyst

Project-Based QA Analyst / Manual Software Tester – Work From Home

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Analyst / Manual Software Tester for a project-based software testing assignment.

The initial project involves conducting a complete functional and business-logic QA audit of our existing web-based business application, identifying issues, verifying calculations, testing different scenarios and preparing a clear QA/bug report.

This is a project-based engagement with flexible working hours and does not require fixed daily working hours. The scope and compensation for the initial project will be mutually discussed based on the project requirements, experience and testing capability.

Our application is built using Java Backend and Angular Frontend and involves business logic, pricing calculations, data validation, configuration and rule-based processing.

Initial Project Scope

• Understand the application workflow and business logic.
• Perform comprehensive manual and functional testing.
• Verify calculations and results across different scenarios.
• Test different combinations, edge cases and data conditions.
• Identify functional, calculation and business-rule issues.
• Document bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected result and actual result.
• Prepare a consolidated QA/bug report after completing the audit.
• Requirements3–6 years of hands-on Manual Testing / QA experience preferred.
• Strong experience in Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
• Good understanding of test cases and bug reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to independently verify calculations using Excel / Google Sheets.
• Experience testing business-rule-based or calculation-heavy applications is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, API Testing or Postman will be an advantage.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, booking, travel, pricing or similar applications will be a plus.

Future EngagementAfter successful completion of the initial project, the candidate may be considered for future project-based QA assignments, including new feature testing, release testing, regression testing and bug-fix verification, based on business requirements.

CompensationCompensation for the initial project will be mutually discussed based on project scope, experience and testing capability.

The salary range displayed on the job posting is indicative for the platform and should not be considered a fixed monthly commitment.

ImportantThis is not a bug-counting job.

We value the quality, depth and accuracy of testing rather than the number of bugs reported. The ability to identify genuine functional, calculation and business-logic issues is more important than reporting minor issues simply to increase the bug count.

Selection ProcessShortlisted candidates may be given a short practical testing assignment to evaluate their actual testing approach, analytical thinking and ability to identify issues.
