Sales Executive – Tractors | Showroom + Field Sales

We are looking for an energetic Sales Executive for our Authorized Mahindra tractor dealership. The role will involve a mix of field sales, customer follow-ups and showroom work.

Main Responsibilities:

Field Sales

• Visit potential customers and generate new tractor enquiries.
• Identify tractor owners/users, contractors, builders, farmers and other potential customers.
• Visit local markets, worksites and customer areas to find new business opportunities.
• Collect customer details such as name, mobile number, location, tractor currently used, purchase requirement and expected purchase timeline.
• Follow up with potential customers by phone and WhatsApp.
• Generate referrals from existing customers.
• Build and maintain a database of prospective customers.
• Support demonstrations and customer visits where required.

Showroom Sales

• Attend customers visiting the showroom.
• Explain tractor models, features, prices and available options.
• Follow up with enquiries and quotations.
• Call old and new leads and convert them into sales.
• Coordinate with customers until completion of the sale.

Computer & Office Work

• Update customer, enquiry, sales and service data in the Mahindra portal.
• Prepare quotations.
• Maintain enquiry and follow-up records.
• Use Excel/basic computer applications, email and WhatsApp.
• Keep customer and sales data updated.

Requirements:

• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Experience in automobile, tractor, commercial vehicle, machinery, construction equipment, tyres, batteries or similar products will be an advantage.
• Must be comfortable doing field sales and customer visits.
• Candidate must have their own motorcycle/scooter and a valid driving licence, as regular local field visits will be part of the job.
• Should be comfortable travelling locally to meet potential customers and generate business.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel and online portals.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic English preferred.
• Should be confident speaking to customers and making sales calls.
• Should be proactive in finding customers instead of depending only on showroom walk-ins.

Higher earnings possible based on sales performance.
