Job Description

Job Purpose

To ensure efficient management of stock levels, accurate inventory records, and smooth coordination of goods movement within the shop to maintain optimal product availability and minimize losses.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all stock received, stored, and issued.
  • Monitor and report on stock levels, reorder requirements, and slow-moving items.
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all merchandise.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams for stock replenishment.
  • Manage stock transfers between branches or departments.
  • Implement and monitor stock control systems (manual or software-based).
  • Prepare and analyze stock reports for management review.
  • Prevent stock losses through effective inventory control and staff training.
  • Support the shop floor team during high-demand periods or promotions.
