Video Editor

About the Role We are a growing digital media and video production business operating multiple YouTube channels. We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Video Editor to take ownership of our post-production pipeline. In this role, you will be assigned daily editing tasks, manage full-scale video projects from start to finish, and play a critical role in scaling our YouTube presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality, engaging video content on a daily basis for various YouTube channels.
• Manage and streamline the end-to-end video content creation process, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Collaborate on creative decisions, pacing, sound design, and visual style to maximize viewer retention and channel growth.
• Assist in generating and integrating high-quality visual assets, including cinematic 16:9 thumbnails.
• Adapt quickly to different channel niches, new project scopes, and daily workflow changes.

Requirements & Skills

• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. (Familiarity with Wondershare Filmora is a bonus).
• YouTube Expertise: Proven track record of editing for YouTube, with a deep understanding of platform mechanics, viewer retention strategies, and SEO-friendly content structures.
• AI Tool Proficiency (Strong Plus): Practical experience utilizing generative AI tools to enhance the post-production workflow, such as AI image generation for visual assets or tools like Suno AI for custom audio tracks.
• Work Ethic: Must be a quick learner, highly organized, and capable of operating independently in a remote WFH environment.
