We are currently seeking a Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Job Summary

The role requires working from the designated ODCs in Noida, Bangalore, or Hyderabad and adhering to the assigned 24x7 shift roster

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) with hands-on expertise in Cribl Stream and enterprise log management platforms. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of Cribl-based data pipelines supporting observability and security monitoring solutions. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, incident management experience, and the ability to work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Cribl Stream and associated observability platforms.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data ingestion, routing, transformation, and forwarding pipelines.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and recurring issues.
• Investigate and resolve log collection, parsing, forwarding, and performance-related issues.
• Handle service requests, incidents, problem tickets, and change activities in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Support integrations between Cribl and platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, Datadog, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools.
• Manage Cribl worker groups, sources, destinations, routes, packs, and pipelines.
• Conduct health checks, capacity monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure uninterrupted service operations.

Required Skills

Cribl & Observability

• Hands-on experience supporting Cribl Stream in production environments.
• Strong understanding of:
• Log collection and forwarding
• Data pipeline management
• Parsing and transformation rules
• Routing and filtering mechanisms
• Troubleshooting ingestion issues
• Experience with Cribl Pack management and deployment.

Infrastructure

• Linux/Unix administration knowledge.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, Syslog, DNS, SSL, APIs, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding of containerized environments and Kubernetes is desirable.

IT Service Management

• Experience in production support and incident management.
• Exposure to ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
