Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and creative Architect with 5–6 years of professional experience in architectural planning, designing, detailing, and execution of residential, commercial, institutional, and interior projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, design capabilities, and experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and site execution teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Architectural Planning & Design

• Develop architectural concepts, space planning, and detailed building layouts.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural presentations.
• Create functional, aesthetically appealing, and cost-effective architectural designs.
• Prepare drawings as per client requirements, project specifications, and applicable building regulations.
• Review and modify designs based on client feedback and site conditions.

2. Architectural Drawings & Documentation

• Prepare detailed architectural working drawings and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
• Develop shop drawings, construction details, and architectural finishing details.
• Prepare door-window schedules, flooring layouts, reflected ceiling plans, and material specifications.
• Review architectural drawings for accuracy and coordination before execution.
• Maintain drawing revisions, approvals, and proper project documentation.

3. 3D Modelling & Visualization

• Develop 3D architectural models using SketchUp, Revit, or similar software.
• Prepare realistic architectural renders and design presentations.
• Develop interior and exterior design concepts based on project requirements.
• Present design proposals with appropriate materials, finishes, and architectural elements.

4. Site Execution & Coordination

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor architectural work and ensure design compliance.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP teams.
• Resolve architectural and technical issues during construction.
• Verify site measurements, dimensions, levels, and finishing details.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure proper execution of approved drawings.
• Ensure architectural work meets project quality standards.

5. Client & Consultant Coordination

• Attend design review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Understand project requirements and incorporate necessary design modifications.
• Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants to resolve drawing conflicts.
• Obtain necessary drawing approvals and maintain records.
• Provide technical support to project managers and execution teams.

6. Project Planning & Management

• Prepare architectural drawing submission schedules.
• Monitor drawing progress and ensure timely project deliverables.
• Assist with quantity estimation, material selection, and BOQ preparation.
• Review technical specifications and architectural material submittals.
• Identify design-related risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with approved project scope, timelines, and quality requirements.
• Required Technical SkillsAutoCAD: Advanced proficiency in 2D architectural drawings and detailing.
• SketchUp: 3D modelling and architectural visualization.
• Revit: Knowledge of BIM modelling and coordination.
• Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray: Architectural rendering and presentation.
• Photoshop: Architectural presentations and design sheets.
• MS Excel & MS Office: Documentation, quantity calculations, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and architectural finishes.
• Understanding of NBC, local building bylaws, fire safety, and accessibility requirements.
• Preferred Experience5–6 years of relevant experience in architectural design and construction-related projects.
• Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or government projects.
• Ability to independently handle architectural drawings from concept development to execution.
• Practical experience in site coordination and construction detailing.
• Experience coordinating with structural and MEP consultants.
• Familiarity with government projects, consultant approvals, and GFC drawing submissions will be an added advantage.
