Macrosense Design Studio is a design-and-build practice delivering residential, commercial and private estate projects across Delhi NCR, with select global work. 90+ projects delivered. We work land to livable — one studio, every step — which means our designers see a project from first client meeting through to handover, not just up to the presentation.

The role

You own the interior design content of live projects: concept, spatial planning, finishes, joinery and the working drawings that let the site build it. You will work under the studio's Design Lead with design oversight from Karan Maan, reporting to Arjun Maan. Expect 3–5 live projects at a time.

What you'll do

Design

• Develop concepts, space plans and layouts from the client brief and site measurements
• Prepare mood boards for direction and material boards for commitment — these are separate deliverables and are not interchangeable
• Select finishes, fittings, furniture and lighting within the project's package specification
• 3D views and walkthroughs for client presentation

Drawings and documentation

• Complete interior working drawing sets: furniture layout, false ceiling, flooring, electrical and lighting layouts, plumbing points, joinery and detail drawings, wardrobe and modular sections
• Coordinate your drawings against architectural, structural and MEP drawings before release to site
• Maintain drawing registers and revision control — no undated or unnumbered drawings go to site

Client-facing

• Present in design meetings alongside the Design Lead; capture client decisions in writing the same day
• Work inside the studio's design freeze and specification freeze discipline: two design revisions and five formal design meetings per project
• Route every client request that changes scope or specification through the variation gate — never verbally agree to a change on site or on a call

Site and delivery

• Weekly site visits to verify execution against your drawings; raise deviations immediately
• Coordinate with the procurement team on interior material availability, lead times and samples
• Support interior BOQ inputs — quantities, item descriptions, specifications
• Snag lists and handover documentation

What we're looking for

• 2–5 years in interior design with built, delivered projects — portfolio must show executed work, not only renders
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
• AutoCAD: strong. SketchUp with V-Ray or Enscape: strong. Photoshop and presentation software: working. 3ds Max and Figma: an advantage
• Working knowledge of Excel — you will be reading and contributing to BOQs
• Practical material knowledge: veneers, laminates, stone, tiles, modular hardware, lighting, and current NCR market rates
• Comfortable on a live site, in the dust, with contractors — this is not a rendering job
• Clear written English and Hindi

How the role works

• Design and specification are decided in the studio, not on site. You cannot change scope, sequence, specification or vendors on your own authority, and you cannot appoint or instruct vendors directly
• You can stop work on a deviation from your drawings, and you should
• We do not downgrade specification to fit budget. Budget is solved in design, not in material grade

• 6-day week, Sunday off
