Job Summary

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the overall operations of the outlet, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising daily operations, managing staff, maintaining compliance with SOPs, and driving sales while delivering a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service flow, adherence to SOPs, hygiene, and brand standards.
• Monitor order accuracy, service timelines, and food presentation to maintain consistent quality.
• Supervise, schedule, and manage floor staff performance, ensuring discipline, grooming, and attendance compliance.
• Conduct on-the-job training and drive implementation of training initiatives, including 5S practices.
• Handle guest interactions, feedback, and escalations to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Support achievement of sales targets through upselling, promotions, and improving average bill value (ABV) and conversions.
• Assist in inventory management, stock control, and minimize wastage/pilferage through effective monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations and maintain cleanliness across FOH and BOH areas.
• Prepare operational reports and coordinate with HR, Accounts, and Procurement while supporting audits and reviews.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or relevant field
• 2–4 years of experience in restaurant/café operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and customer handling ability
• Basic understanding of POS systems and reporting tools
