We are looking for a D2C Ad Creator who can conceptualise, shoot, and edit high-converting video ads for Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook).We need someone who understands what makes an ad convert, not just someone who can edit videos. Experience with kids' and educational toy brands is highly preferred, and hands-on AI ad creation skills are mandatory.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesAd Strategy & Concept Development: Research customer pain points, identify winning angles, and create ad concepts, scripts, and scroll-stopping hooks.
• Video Shooting & Editing: Shoot product demonstrations, lifestyle videos, UGC-style ads, and story-based creatives, including directing kids during shoots.
• Meta Ad Creatives: Create conversion-focused ads with strong hooks, product demonstrations, social proof, offers, and clear CTAs.
• AI-Powered Ad Creation: Use AI tools to generate product scenes, B-roll, voiceovers, visuals, and multiple ad variations.
• Creative Testing & Optimisation: Develop 5–10 variations per concept, analyse performance metrics with the marketing team, and improve creatives based on results.
• Performance Analysis: Understand hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS to identify winning creatives and reduce ad fatigue.
• Required Skills & Experience3+ years of experience creating paid video ads for D2C/e-commerce brands.
• Strong portfolio of Meta ads, preferably for kids', baby, parenting, or educational toy brands.
• Proven experience creating performance-driven ads, with at least two winning creatives and verifiable performance results.
• Strong understanding of hooks, storytelling, customer psychology, ad angles, and conversion-focused editing.
• Advanced skills in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro and CapCut.
• Hands-on experience with AI video and creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, Veo, or Midjourney.
• Ability to shoot and direct product, lifestyle, and UGC-style videos.
• Understanding of Meta advertising policies, including guidelines for ads featuring children.
• Preferred QualificationsExperience across multiple D2C categories, including beauty, fashion, wellness, home, or gadgets.
• Knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience creating AI-assisted ads, regional-language variations, and multiple creative versions for testing.
• Ability to distinguish when real footage performs better than AI-generated content.
